San Felipe

San Felipe occupies a central position in La Línea's urban fabric, a barrio that blends residential and commercial uses in a way that makes it exceptionally practical for everyday life. The main streets carry commercial activity — shops, garages, small businesses — while the side streets are quieter and predominantly residential. It is the kind of neighbourhood where you can fix your car, buy your groceries, eat a decent lunch, and still be home in five minutes.

The housing stock is a mixture of older terraced properties and more recent apartment blocks, reflecting the barrio's role as a connector between the older core of La Línea and the newer developments to the south and west. Prices are mid-range for the city — not as cheap as the most affordable barrios, but significantly below what you would pay in Gibraltar for equivalent space.

San Felipe benefits from good connections. Bus routes pass through on their way to the centre and the border area. The main road that runs through the barrio links Centro to the south of the city, making it easy to get anywhere in La Línea without a long journey.
